Frequently asked

How much does epoxy flooring cost per square foot?

Residential epoxy runs $3–$8/sq ft installed. Commercial broadcast systems $5–$12/sq ft. Heavy-duty cementitious urethane and quartz systems $10–$18/sq ft. Includes diamond grinding and primer coat.

How long does an epoxy floor last?

Residential epoxy 10–15 years. Commercial flake systems 15–20 years. Industrial cementitious urethane 20–30 years even in food-processing thermal-shock conditions.

Will epoxy peel off my concrete?

Only if the concrete wasn't diamond-ground or had a moisture problem. Every installer in our network does mechanical prep and a calcium-chloride or RH moisture test before quoting.

Can you do epoxy over an old painted floor?

No — old paint must come off (grind or shotblast). Coating over paint is the #1 reason epoxy floors fail.
